The Importance of Being Earnest, Review Emanuel Drama students proved their talent once again in a sparkling production of Oscar Wilde's greatest comedy The Importance of Being Earnest. Performed in the new Theatre, the venue afforded an intimacy entirely in keeping with the atmosphere of the play, while the whole cast performed with gusto and timed the delightful comic lines perfectly.
Set in 1895, the play was given added vigour by the period costumes, designed and made by Edith Webb and many thanks to her for such a professional job. The whole cast should be proud of what they achieved.
